Update in the management of FC "Metalist 1925": Bohdan Boyko appointed as president, Volodymyr Nosov - chairman of the supervisory board

On July 30, 2025, the football club "Metalist 1925" held its traditional General Meeting of participants, during which changes in leadership positions within the club were discussed.

The investor and co-owner of "Metalist 1925," Volodymyr Nosov, has changed his official position. Instead of the position of the club's president, he is transitioning to the role of the chairman of the supervisory board. Volodymyr Nosov will focus on the strategic development of the club. He will continue to participate in determining the direction of "Metalist 1925," making key decisions, and shaping the long-term strategy.

Due to the expansion of his activities, including serving as an honorary consul of Ukraine in Spain, Volodymyr Nosov is transferring the authority for the operational management of the club to the new president, Bohdan Boiko, who previously held the position of chairman of the supervisory board of the club.

This decision reflects a new stage in the development of "Metalist 1925" and allows for the effective distribution of management functions.

"This is an anticipated step, and I am pleased to hand over the operational management to Bohdan, who is well acquainted with all the processes in 'Metalist 1925.' I will remain in a strategic position and will continue to actively support the club in achieving ambitious goals. We believe that this transformation will strengthen the position of 'Metalist 1925' both in sports and organizationally," noted Volodymyr Nosov.

Bohdan Boiko has a deep understanding of internal processes and years of involvement in the club's projects. He has previously played a leading role in the transfer, operational, and other work of the club. From now on, Bohdan Boiko will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of "Metalist 1925."

"For me, this is a great responsibility and at the same time a logical continuation of the work that we have been doing together with Volodymyr Nosov for several years. Our main goal is stability and development. The club has a clear direction, and we will not slow down," shared Bohdan Boiko.

Denys Kovtun has also been appointed as the deputy chairman of the supervisory board, who was previously a member of the supervisory board. The board will continue to include Serhii Storozhenko, Emil Ter-Stepanyan, and Bohdan Boiko.

It is worth noting that Volodymyr Nosov and Bohdan Boiko became the new investors and co-owners of the Kharkiv club in 2023 after "Metalist 1925" faced the threat of disappearance. Following the results of the previous season, the team returned to the UPL and will play against Kyiv's "Obolon" in the first round on Monday, August 4.
