As for the players of the "Metalist 1925" academy, the teams based in Kyiv will play in Group 3 of the Elite League, while the teams of the "Metalist 1925" sports school in Kharkiv will compete in the Premier League under the name "Metalist 1925-2".
The Elite League season will start on September 6th, with "Metalist 1925" facing "Chornomorets" in the 1st round, and the Premier League teams will start their season on September 12th and 13th, playing against MDYUSH-2 and OSDYUSHOR "Metallurg".
