Peter Etebo: "In the first half of the match we played well"

The author of the double at the "Agrobusiness" gate in the 1/8 finals of the Cup Peter Itodo commented on the match and shared his thoughts on cup prospects:

– Peter, comment on how this match turned out for you, because it seems that the score does not fully reflect everything that happened on the field.

– In my opinion, the score should have been higher than 4:0. It could easily have been, say, 10:0.

– Why do you think there was a lack of concentration at the end of the match? It seemed like the match was already won, but at the end, the team conceded some unclear goals.

– In the first half of the match, we played well, but in the second - not so much. The opponent's team took advantage of this, so they simply capitalized on their chances. Next time we need to play equally well in both halves of the match.

– What do you think about the double, it seems like you are turning into a real cup fighter for "Metalist 1925".

– I believe that I am adding to the game with each match. I try to progress in all games, but so far it's working out better in the Cup. I try, I strive, and hope that next time I will score in the UPL match as well.

– And one last question. Do you know that not many UPL clubs are left in the Cup competition? How do you assess the overall prospects of "Metalist 1925" in this tournament?

– It doesn't matter which opponent we get, because in any case, we need to continue playing well. Our job is to keep fighting at the same level, and we'll see how it goes.
