Kauan Baptitella was born in the Italian city of Benevento, in the family of the famous futsal player Clayton Baptitella. He started playing football at the "San Paulo" school, then played for "SKA Brazil", from where he joined the "Cruzeiro" system in 2022.
For the "Cruzeiro" U-17 team, he played 63 matches and scored 28 goals (Minas champions 2023). In the last two seasons, he played for the "Cruzeiro" U-20 team (51 matches, 19 goals, and 7 assists), becoming the champion of Minas 2025, the champion of Copinha 2026, and reaching the semifinals of the Brazilian U-20 championship, finishing second in the youth championship's top scorer race with 12 goals.
In early January, he made his debut for the main "Cruzeiro" team in a Minas championship match against "Poze-Alegri", coming on as a substitute in the 79th minute, and providing an assist from a corner kick.
Main position - attacking midfielder. He will play for "Metalist 1925" wearing the 77th number.
