Mladen Bartulovich: "The team has completed the game plan 100%"

Press conference of the head coach of "Metalist 1925" Mladen Bartulovich after an away victory over "Rukh":

— Mladen, second consecutive victory with a score of 3:0. What are your impressions, what emotions do you have now?

— We are very pleased with this score and today's game. It was very important for us to win. I can say thank you to the guys for their attitude towards today's match. We move on.

— What did you like more: how your team attacked or how it controlled the game when it had a clear advantage? The next game is also at "Arena Lviv", will you stay in Lviv?

— I liked a lot of things from today's match: how we pressed, how we worked with the ball, the goals we scored. We created a lot of chances, and that is important for us. But we still need to work a lot on finishing. We are already preparing for the match against "Shakhtar" and will be preparing in Lviv.

— How well did the team implement your tactical plan? Did you have to change any tactical aspects during the game?

— I think the team executed the game plan 100%. We watched how "Rukh" played in their last matches — against "Obolon" and "Dynamo". We knew how they would act, and I believe we did well today.

— How do you assess the balance between experienced and young players in your team?

— Our mechanism is as follows: there are young guys and more experienced ones. They communicate a lot with each other. The young ones look at the older ones as an example of how to work, and this is a good example for them.

— Your team has now gained a good pace and is fighting for fourth place, which gives a chance to qualify for European competitions. How do you assess the possibility of your team reaching Europe?

— Thank you for the question. We are moving from game to game. We have the next match against "Shakhtar" ahead of us. It will be a very important game for both us and them. Of course, if we have a chance to qualify for European competitions, we will do everything possible to take advantage of it.
